Small matter of the Kings Coronation

 

Back in May at late notice we were asked to make what turned out to be some VIC's: "Very Important Covers" used at the entrance to Westminster Abbey for the Kings Coronation.

Coverspan 12m x 24m Marquees

 

A rainy night in early summer: despite the rain this Salsa night at a fundraiser in St Cross Winchester, showcases the summer workhorse that is the Custom Covers Coverspan 12m x 24m marquee: in this case hosting a sit down dinner for 230 people.

Printed Marquee

We made this set of printed gables for Arena one of many customers who used this eye-catching marketing tool in conjunction with a regular marquee. If you need this service click here to learn more

Corporate event in specially commissioned black PVC covers

Marlin Marquees asked us to make a set of black marquee covers for a one off event for one of their corporate customers, in this case for a 12m x 30m marquee: again demonstrating the flexibility of the Coverspan 12m x 30m marquee.

Covers for the new Acorn sonic stage

We were asked to help develop and manufacture stage covers and cowshed covers for Acorn Constructions new Sonic stage. We were pleased to be involved making covers for 3 of these exciting new stages.

Custom Covers cuts PVC Prices

Why use low-wick yarn in your PVC covers

Normal PVC cloth yarns can absorb water as moisture wicks into the base cloth: you don't want that moisture in your PVC covers! We use a low-wick yarn as the base cloth for our cover material. Each individual yarn is treated and the treated base cloth repels moisture for longer lasting and so lower cost per use covers. Find out more by clicking here.

Going green: doing our bit with LED

  

At the beginning of summer we upgraded all of our factory lights to LED lights; this helped mitigate some of the energy cost increases we have all had to deal with. In these pictures, you can see newly installed lights in two of the major manufacturing lofts at Custom Covers.

New Production space opened

 

If you missed it here are pictures of our third manufacturing facility, the new factory was fully operational in March ready for this season. Two new high frequency PVC welders ensure we can maintain a stock of supplies when you need them.
